Antonia Lofaso

Antonia Lofaso's food can be a way to investigate the possibilities within her. The food she serves evokes interest that was born from the moment she stepped out of the suburban areas of Long Island and into the culturally diverse scene that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli, carnitas, and other dishes can all coexist in a single menu. It is an ever changing sensibility. The dishes she serves have a common vision, embracing the present and reminiscing on the old. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant founded by Lofaso in 2013. The restaurant was opened by her due to her heritage as an Italian-American. Lofaso's old-school Italian interpretation is considered to be one among Los Angeles' most captivating eateries. Lofaso serves consistently delicious food at Scopa it is a local favorite. Its patrons describe it as authentic and satisfying. Lofaso was a student of legendary chefs and learned their sophisticated methods but she never hesitated to take extraordinary risks in order to follow her intuition. After quickly rising up the ranks, she transformed various Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while working with high-profile stars. Lofaso collaborated along with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar, the first bar to open within Studio City. Lofaso was able to settle at Black Market. Lofaso's creative freedom could be enhanced by this collaborative effort. Black Market does not have a single direction, and this is its intention. A meal could start with potato chips and peppers some dill. This could be followed by Korean wings and meatballs. What binds this diverse assortment of flavours is Antonia. Lofaso's popularity has been measured by her ability to be true to herself while still understanding her audience. Apart from her memorable appearances of Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars, her individuality was also recognized in other areas, beyond the kitchen. Today she continues to impress on the screen, as an CNBC judge as well as a regular role on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. In 2012 Lofaso joined with Penguin to publish The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for Quick Delicious home-cooked Meals and describes her struggles during her time at the prestigious French Culinary Institute, and while raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso maintains that the source of all her achievements is her kitchen. It's through this vein that she stays on pulse. Chefletics, her new brand, is revolutionizing how chefs dress. It combines style with functionality. Lofaso believes in staying true to you and your ideals. To achieve this, she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The new company will offer a personalized experience for clients.
